Research plays an integral role in moving dentistry forward. At the University of Toronto, we are committed to being world leaders and innovators in the science of dentistry, and solving important clinical problems.

In partnership with the governments of Canada and Ontario, and the University of Toronto, the Faculty of Dentistry has embarked on a revitalization of its research spaces. With laboratory spaces dating back to the 50s and 80s, the project will solve some of the Faculty’s most urgent research infrastructure problems – and is envisioned to help UofT Dentistry’s researchers remain competitive in the future. The design will see the fourth and fifth floors of the Dentistry building re-imagined, with new classrooms, open communal lab space to promote cross-disciplinary research, and new office spaces for faculty and staff.

Join us in moving the clinical art and science of oral health into the future -- name a space within the Research expansion, or create a research fund to support an area of interest.
