Named Chairs and Professorships are among the highest honours that can be bestowed upon a faculty member. These honours are vital to attracting and retaining superior leaders, and financial stability allows for the best in research, education and patient-care initiatives.
Early Career Professorships
As new graduates complete their training and become faculty members, they are in critical need of support to keep them engaged at the Faculty. Early Career Professorships allow us to attract the most promising clinicians and researchers who will be part of the next generation of outstanding UofT Faculty.
Chairs begin as endowed gifts, with a naming opportunity for the Chair at $3M for a limited term of 5 years.
