Terms of Employment:
Full-time, Term position

Wages:
$150,000 to $175,000 base with potential for performance-based increments/bonuses

$40,000 Signing Bonus

Skills (Education and Experience) required:
Successful completion of the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or completion of the NDEB Equivalency Exam
Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements (or eligible for license)
Valid CPR Certification
Must be open to collaborate with other professionals, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists, to plan treatment.

Duties:
To plan treatment in collaboration with other professionals, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists;
Administer general and local anesthetics;
Perform surgery to prepare the mouth for dental implants orto aid in the regeneration of deficient bone and gum tissues;
Remove impacted, damaged, and non-restorable teeth, as well as tumors and other abnormal growths of the oral and facial regions;
Perform surgery on the mouth and jaws to treat conditions, such as cleft lip, palate, and jaw growth problems;
Provide emergency treatment of facial injuries including facial lacerations, intra-oral lacerations, and fractured facial bones; and
Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws, and neck.
