Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto

Just one student at the Faculty of Dentistry is all it takes to make a tremendous impact on the world - from developing oral health policies that affect millions in Canada and abroad, to developing the next-generation of dental materials or giving a smile back to a patient who has gone without.

Our vision is to improve human health by advancing dentistry through inspired leadership, innovation, and excellence in education, research and practice. Nestled In the heart of Toronto’s hospital alley, in partnership with Canada’s vibrant, innovative biomedical engineering and medical communities, the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto consistently ranks among the top dentistry programs in Canada and internationally.

Marco Magalhaes is using a $130,000 Cancer Research Society operating grant to investigate oral precancer.

Bobby Chagger 9T6, Norma Chou 7T4, and Joel Rosenbloom, assistant professor, teaching stream, and director of student life at the Faculty, are this year’s Dentistry recipients.
