Capital Children’s General Anesthesia Dentistry (located in Largo, MD, near Washington, DC) and Baltimore Children’s General Anesthesia Dentistry are looking for two full-time dental anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia services for dental patients who need work completed under general anesthesia.
Job Details
License: Must obtain a Maryland state dental license and Class 3 (anesthesia permit)
Practice can assist with licensing and permitting process
Dental Specialty: Anesthesiologist (residency required)
Patient Population:
o ~90% pediatric patients
o ~10% patients with special needs and adult / adolescent patients with anxiety
Location:
Largo, Maryland
Baltimore Maryland
Schedule:
No call
No travel (we can work with you to determine if you’re interested in DC, Baltimore, or both)
Facility Type: ASC
Support Team:
RNs in pre-op, OR and PACU
Medical Assistants in pre-op and PACU
Dental assistant trained as anesthesia assistant in OR
Usually 2-3 anesthesiologists working at a time in 2-3 ORs
(ASC currently works with 2 part-time dental anesthesiologists)
Full time Compensation and Benefits
Base salary $350,000 to $400,000 + performance-based bonuses
W-2, health insurance, 401K
6 weeks Paid Time Off
Other
ASC schedules all patients (subject to DA’s medical clearance)
ASC provides all equipment and supplies
Dental Anesthesiologist references available upon request
About Capital Children’s General Anesthesia Dentistry
Capital Children’s General Anesthesia Dentistry is an OR-only dental practice based in a dental-only ASC just outside Washington, DC that is focused on increasing access to care for dental patients who need their dental work completed in a OR. Baltimore Children’s General Anesthesia Dentistry is a sister practice based in Baltimore, Maryland that is opening in February 2022. CC GAD and BC GAD are growing practices that need additional anesthesia support due to increased demand.
We treat many Medicaid patients and patients who traditionally have a hard time getting access to care. Our patients are grateful for our services, and we’re grateful for the chance to serve in the community.
