ORTHODONTIC PRACTICE AVAILABLE
I am looking for an ambitious and enterprising orthodontist with some marketing skills who wishes to own her/his own practice in downtown Toronto. I wish to retire in the near future and would like to find someone to take over my practice, assuming my lease on the premises. All new patient inquiries will be given to the new orthodontist, as well as the recall observation patients who have not yet been started. The new orthodontist would be introduced on the practice website and in person to neighbourhood referring dentists.
The office is around 1900 s.f. in area on the 15th floor of a midrise office building. It is a busy and vibrant area, close to Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto. The building is located on line 1 of the subway: the station exit is right at our front door. The main operatory is open concept with 4 chairs. There is also a private consultation/treatment room, a lunch room which could be another treatment room, a lab, and a large storage room (in the building basement). The lab has a Whip-Mix mechanical spatulator, a Wehmer dual model trimmer, Great Lakes Biostar and air compressor.
A relatively new Trios 3 scanner is also in use. There is no radiography equipment, although a lead-lined room is present if the new owner wishes to install a unit. I have never seen the need with several oral radiologists nearby.
