Just one student at the Faculty of Dentistry is all it takes to make a tremendous impact on the world - from developing oral health policies that affect millions in Canada and abroad, to developing the next-generation of dental materials or giving a smile back to a patient who has gone without.

Nestled In the heart of Toronto’s hospital alley, in partnership with Canada’s vibrant, innovative biomedical engineering and medical communities, the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto consistently ranks among the top dentistry programs in Canada and internationally.

Greg Anderson 8T6, Susanna Chow 9T2 and Cheryl Lee 7T3 have been selected as the 2025 honorees of the Arbor Awards.

At fall convocation, the Faculty of Dentistry will celebrate one of the largest groups of PhD candidates ever to graduate, with eight students successfully defending their theses in recent months. 

In 1976, William Mills 6T4 Dip Perio 6T7 won the public-naming contest where he helped name the Toronto Blue Jays. Nearly 50 years later, he remains a devoted fan.
