Dentistry's Great Alumni Event: Home Edition

Log on to join in from May 26 to 30

This May, we’re celebrating our Great Alumni Event in a completely reimagined way. We know it might look a little different, but the Great Alumni Event: Home Edition will be filled with plenty of ways to unwind and reconnect with your fellow classmates and colleagues.

(P.S: We’re hoping to see everyone again in person at Steam Whistle in 2022.)

We’ve expanded our event offerings, giving each one of our Dentistry alumni the chance to choose from a variety of entertaining social events, learning experiences and family fun.

Offering a safe, fully virtual celebration is a fantastic way for alumni to come together amidst the global pandemic. We’re excited that alumni far and wide can participate in our biggest alumni event of the year. Whether it be in your backyard or on your couch, all our alumni now have the chance to take a walk down memory lane.

Dentistry alumni are welcome to attend as many virtual events as possible. If you graduated in a year ending in 0, 1, 5 or 6, look for events in your honour.

See a full schedule of offerings and links to register for the Great Alumni Event: Home Edition below.

Course Title: A Dental Professional’s Role, Scope & Mandated Assistance to Abuse Recognition & Domestic Violence
Discount Code: Forensic2021

Register

This program will review how basic dental knowledge not only helps protect smiles but also possibly patients' lives. Every dentist has a role in recognizing suspected cases of abuse and domestic violence. It is important to know what to look for because all dentists have a legal role and responsibilities under mandated local, provincial and national laws and acts to report such cases to the proper authorities.
