Two research projects at the Faculty of Dentistry have garnered nearly $1.5M in Canadian Institutes of Health research funding for their research.

When Aiman Ali and his family came to Canada in June 2016, they were fleeing the Syrian war in hopes of a better life. Flash forward to today, Ali is the manager of the Faculty’s Histopathology Research Unit.

DDS grads find their endeavours away from the chair enrich their work in dentistry

On May 9 and 16, the Faculty of Dentistry hosted two White Coat Ceremonies for the DDS Classes who started in September of 2020 and 2021.

Janelle Brown-Walkus, a recent graduate from the Faculty of Dentistry, is one of two University of Toronto alumni who have been named McCall MacBain Scholars for 2022.
